TIES (The International Ecotourism Society) Philippines Inc. is a duly registered non-stock non-profit corporation with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of the Philippines. Its main goal is to offer services that promotes ecotourism and sustainable tourism that encourages the conservation and protection of the natural environment and its biological diversity, and the preservation and stewardship of cultural heritages through educational and learning opportunities; advocacy and information campaigns; marketing and promotional initiatives; participation in community development projects, and the creation of a network of local and international partnerships.

We shall achieve our Vision by:

1) Providing access to learning opportunities through educational programs, trainings, seminars, workshops, conventions, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge on ecotourism and sustainable tourism;

2) Initiating awareness-raising and informational campaigns to educate both the tourists and the local populace about the importance of ecotourism and sustainable tourism and the positive effects these could have on the local community and the environment;

3) Promoting and showcasing environmentally friendly ecotourism and sustainable tourism activities that prioritizes the protection of the natural environment, its biological diversity, and cultural heritages, as well as encouraging responsible travel practices and behaviors that supports local businesses and respects local customs and traditions;

4) Participating in collaborative ecotourism and sustainable tourism projects that encourages active local community participation and ensures inclusivity among the various tourism industry stakeholders; and

5) Integrating ecotourism and sustainable tourism principles and practices into the tourism industry by establishing a network of local and international partnerships to bring about local and global presence in the sector.
